DIY Cloves & Rosemary Hair Growth Recipe

You won't believe how easy it is to grow your hair with this easy and effective DIY hair growth recipe with just cloves and rosemary! Use it as a scalp spray or a final hair rinse- the choice is yours!

Equipment

  • 1 Small saucepan
  • 1 Metal strainer
  • 1 Mason Jar
  • 1 spray bottle

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp cloves
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
  • 3 cups distilled water

Instructions
 

  • Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil.
  • Add cloves and rosemary to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Turn the heat down to low.
  • Allow the herbs to simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the water takes on a rich, herbal scent.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, strain the liquid to remove any solid particles.
  • Transfer the infused liquid to a spray bottle or container for easy application.

Usage Tips:
Follow these simple application tips for scalp spray:
  • Start with unwashed dry hair or slightly damp, towel-dried hair (after your shower).
  • Spray or apply the infused liquid directly to your scalp, focusing on areas where hair growth is desired.
  • Gently massage the mixture into your scalp using circular motions to stimulate blood flow.
  • Leave the mixture on for at least 30 minutes to allow the herbs to work their magic.
  • Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow up with your regular shampoo and conditioner.
  • Style as usual.
For best results, use the DIY recipe 2-3 times per week. I usually prefer to use the scalp spray on wash days so it's easier for me to wash it out and style my hair as desired.

  • After shampooing and conditioning your hair as usual, pour the cloves and rosemary infusion onto your scalp.
  • Gently massage the mixture into your scalp for 5-10 minutes to ensure thorough absorption.
  • Squeeze out the excess water from your hair and continue to dry and style your hair as usual.
  • DO NOT RINSE out. 
  • Leave the infusion on your scalp to allow the nutrients to penetrate deeply.
